Article says sometime at the end of August, early September for the 1720.

I wonder how long until it will be offered in the other models? And if existing models could be updated with a addon module. I really don't want to have to carry around another dongle, just after I made a big deal about having built in bluetooth.

Technically shouldn't we be able to buy a WUSB mini card and stick it in the empty WWAN card slot we have one our laptops?

Well considering it is just a standard Type IIIA mini card slot it shouldn't be a problem.

Considering on the 1400 the WWAN slot is also used for the Flach Cache Module if you get the option, so that tells me any IIIA card will work in it.

And there should already be un-used antenna connectors for a WWAN tuck away there.
