Hey I was wondering how durable is the dell touchpad? Could you damage it if u push too hard on the touchpad? Just wondering out of curiousity, cause my touchpad seems to angle slightly at the upper side of the touchpad.
-
does anyone else know about this or am i just being a bit paranoid that my touchpad is outta shape
-
I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't affect your cursor movement.
-
kk yah i was just wondering if i pressed too hard and depressed my touchpad.. I wasn't pressing really hard, just a firm press i guess..
-
can anyone else provide input if i have a damaged touchpad? i mean i can feel slight depression but i can't see it at all? is there a way to recoginize teh damge?
-
if you can't see it, then its probably not there, there is goign to be depression in the inner squarum of the touchpad as the outer portion has the scroll functions

lol thanks xD

-
just one more quick question xD
how much pressure can the touchpad take before it actually begins to damage the touchpad? -
can anyone help me with this?
-
How F****king hard are you pressing mate?? its a TOUCHpad not a THUMPpad... press your finger into your eye... now if it hurts you are putting too much pressure... now apply same to your lappy..
I accept no responsibilities for loss of sight. -
-
Why not just use a mouse?
-
-
THE reason its called a touch pad is cause you just have to touch it... not press it....
-
The touchpad works better if you just rest your finger on it and put no additional pressure.
-
A touchpad works best if you use a pen - ballpoint or fountain, it doesn't matter, but not felt tip! Remember to press firmly. I find that a standard blue Papermate ballpoint works really well. Don't forget to have a bottle of liquid paper handy, just in case you make a mistake in pointing!

Or a PDA stylus....

I pity the fool who would ever test this.
