What sort of temperatures is everyone getting in their Dell vostros?
I get the following...
(Speedfan)
Core 1 - 30Cish
core 2 - 30Cish
temp1 - anything from 50C to 62C
pc wizard
core1 - 50Cish
Core2 - 50Cish
Does anyone know what temp1 is (I think it's the motherboard)?
Also, temp1 seems far too hot for me, I told the Dell rep that I think the motherboard was overheating and he says the motherboards don't overheat![]()
Thanks

Ok thanks, it seems temp1 is meant to be hot, have you had any stability issues?

Temp1 is the Junction temperature... It's the hottest, where the two cores meet (the "junction").
59C is nothing for Junction. Max Junction temp should be 85C-100C, depending on the mobo and CPU.
Dell vostro 1500 temps?
