    Hi
Could some one help me with this issue
I connected my xps m1330 to an LG 42 inches LCD through HDMI cable, the picture was good and I could have a mirrored monitor BUT the one on LCD was bigger and I missed some icons on the desktop that I couldn't visualise.
I tried different sitting on VGA with no benefit.
    Thanks

I run mine on a 47" LCD regularly and use the Fn F8 keys to switch between screens. I find HDMI wonderful and the picture is great...no loss whatsoever.

Is it possible you are on a specific 'expanded' screen mode on your LCD?

LCD has only two options of image ratios
4:3 and 16:9 which the later I used, but still part of the picture's edges are hidden.
