Hey, I'm thinking about getting a Dell Inspiron 9300, but am held back by Dell's exchange/return policy. Does anyone know anything about Dell's exchange/return policy?
Thanks for all the Help!

You have a 21 day, no questions asked, return policy. Stores like Best Buy offer a 14 day return policy for their notebooks. I think that is pretty much all you need to know. You have 21 days to mess around with the notebook and decide if you want to return it or not as long as you haven't done anything to physically damage the notebook. If you go through Dell's prefered acount (Dell credit) then there are more variables to add to the equation.

Like Korn said, it is a 21 day policy. It is 21 days from your invoice or shipment date, but there has been some complaints that it does take some time to get a refund back if you return it.

I forgot about the restocking fees. Normally if you talk to someone and tell them that you don't like your notebook they will not charge the restocking fee. When I ordered my Inspiron 9100, I had it for a couple of days then returned it. I had to pay for the shipping back but they did not charge me a restocking fee because I complained enough.
You will be fine as long as you return it within 21 days of the ship date. -
Ok, thanks for all the help!
