    im getting a 9300, and was wondering is it worth the xtra 150 for that upgrade or should i get the standard widescreen xga? Is there a noticable difference. plus i heard that the uxga came with its share of problems...

    You might need to wear magnifying glasees if you work with a wuxga screen [ :D]

    I searched the forums and someone posted a very helpful link where screens are concerned. The article talks about the WXGA, WSXGA and WUXGA screens plus photos of each.

    Screen properties are a personal preference. You can see much more with a UXGA+ screen, but some people think it is small. I know Best Buy/Circuit City carry a couple of 17" models with UXGA+. I'd check them out before you buy if you can. There are numerous posts in the Dell forum refering to the screen. I'd check those out as well.
