So i recently ordered a Inspiron 1525. I went back today to see if i could customize the laptop some more, and i saw that they were now giving out Webcam integration with laptop for free! But when i had placed my order, i had to pay extra $30 for it!! I was kind of surprised that people were now getting it for free whereas i had to pay for it, but then i noticed a few differences Dell had done to attract people to this free webcam thing.
They are now using a Intel T2370 whereas my system had T5550 (for the same price), so apparently, people are being fooled thinking they are getting webcam integration for free not realizing they are actually getting a lower performance chip..kind of surprised they are balancing it out like that.
    Unfair even..

Funny thing, when i ordered, you could only upgrade to T7250 for $170 more but now you have two options, either upgrade to T5750 ($120) or T7250 (for $170). Note that T5750 and T5550 are almost same in performance, and battery life.

Dell is constantly changing their offers (i think once a week or every two weeks).

Yup - major promotions occur once a week, however configurational changes and minor pricing changes can occur hourly (on some systems) depending on part availability, sales numbers, etc.
