So its Saturday july 22nd today. I check my order status and it goes from Boxing to Shipped. But the funny thing is that it says shipped Monday, July 24th. WTF. I've heard stories about how its not updated correctly, but this is rediculous. They really need to redo that whole program.

I hope they actually mean shipped and not like... jk actually shipped on 24th.

The date is correct. It means it has been boxed and prepared for shipping but because its Sunday they cannot mail it until tomorrow (there is no mail on sunday...remember?). They probably didn't finish it yesterday until after the trucks left, so it cannot be mailed until Monday.

its common for Dell, Gateway and Amazon to ship things ahead of schedule. The proposed ship dates are worst case scenarios, I think.

Right, and it will leave the UPS facility on Monday (tomorrow). You'll probably get in by Wed. or Thurs. Not that hard to understand.

Yeah, not that hard to understand. After its finished boxing, Dell enters it into the UPS system to alert UPS to the shipment The Date Shipped is when UPS will actually have it in their hands to send to you.
