Recently i got my m1530 and it came with the samsung lcd which was grainy, so i decided to give them a call and i requested an lg screen. 2 weeks later i received another m1530 wiith samsung, but this time the screen is even more dull and grainy. So i called them again and they keep telling me that they can not request an lg screen because they didn't know what screen was put in it, but they said even after the 3rd replacement they told me that it will the same manufactor. The funny thing is i never mentioned the it is the samsung model to them, so how would they know wat brand they are going to send me -_-. Even my friend who has a genetic PnP screen looks better than mine...

So can anyone please tell me how to get the screen replaced?

I would ask to speak w/a supervisor. then explain your story.

or i would just get your money back and buy something else, they need to pay for their poor quality control on these recent models.

I've been getting the same run around. I have always felt that the customer service was workable, but I've been having a terrible experience. If you still wish to pursue an LG, I would keep calling and as soon as you realize you have a resistant rep, get out of the conversation gracefully and call back and try another.

I've tried the same thing before when I had 1420. The supervisor told me that you couldn't request a certain a screen because they did not know the specific part number for each screen. I ended up getting a $100 discount in the end, so keep trying.

That is indeed strange, you should ask for a supervisor and explain your case. If they take ownership over your case you should be golden.

In general customer care doesn't deal with technical issues so perhaps you are not speaking to the right department. If you don't have a technical issue customer care can do returns and exchanges. If you do have a technical issue I think it has to be handled by tech support. What you say may have effect on what response you get.
