    about to order dell e1505 in two days...

    want to know the difference in performance of 2Ghz and 1.83GHz in Dell...

    is it worth enough to go for 2Ghz with extra $80....

    T5600 has 2MB of L2 cache and 1.83 GHz.
    T7200 has 4MB of L2 cache and 2.0 GHz.

    I think it's worth the $80.

    Well, it could be worth the $80 if the OP makes use of the extra cache, if he doesnt it wont, What apps do you intend to run? If you do a lot of media (audio/video) encoding, high level photo editing and the like it will be worth it, if you just do media playback, web surfing, general office apps, and casual photo work, the 5600 will more than suit your needs.
