Hey all. So I ordered some really cheap Logitech speakers (S220) from Dell for $20 which includes shipping. For whatever Dell ships using Purolator, which requires a signature upon delivery. So they stopped by today and I wasn't home, and they sent it to the local depot (30 mins away) for pick up within 5 days. The problem is, the depot hours are terrible and since I work I am not able to pick up the package. They are closed on weekend. It wouldn't be worth it to take off 3 or so hours from work. Talk about inconvenience. So I think I'm left with Purolator returning the package to Dell.

So here's my questions: what sort of fees do you think I'll incur with package being sent back to Dell? How long does it take to get refunded?

    Anyone had a similar experience?

Have you tried contacting the depot and asking if they can schedule another delivery? Usually they'll accept an indirect signature, which means you'll need to affix a paper to your door with instructions and your signature.

FedEx has left me two Optiplex desktops on my porch after taking an indirect signature, so some speakers shouldn't be a problem. ;)
