    Dell-inspiron 5100 screen troubles

    Anyone have any ideas why the screen doen not come alive for about 10 miniutes after I boot when the machine has set o/nite.? The same condition happens if I close the lid for any lenght of time. I have tried new drivers from Dell, etc. Dell suggests send it in. Help appreciated
