Ok... ive tried going into dells site from the coupon link... straight thru the site, etc. and it looks like the $750 off $1999+ coupon isnt working... it always says 'more information needed'.
Has anyone got this to work? It says its valid from today thru the 4th.
-
just start from dell.com instead of through the link. i checked it out, and the coupon worked.
-
Worked for me just a second ago...make sure your total is above $1999 or will not work
-
before tax too, dont forgot
-
Total was 2090+ before tax... model was e1505.... started with e1505 added 2ghz, x1400, dvdrw, 1gb, tvtuner... just to quickly get it over 2k... and it wont take the coupon... tried 3-4 times.
-
are you using another deal with it?
I dont get why it wont be working -
Nope... tried multiple configurations now... from two different computers... tried it just with the base over $2000 and with the base minus their $200 off being over 2000... always says it needs more info.
Im starting at www.dell.com, going to dell home... picking the 2nd e1505 from the left (lowest price core duo now)... adding 2ghz cpu, 2gb ram, x1400, etc... just to quickly get the price over 2k... and it hasnt worked yet on 5-6 configurations.
Not using any other deals with it... cleared my cache, closed all my browsers and started fresh... same deal. very wierd.
I also just tried this...
1. Goto notebookreview.com, select the current deals so you can see the dell coupons.
2. Copy the $300 off $999 to the clipboard
3. goto the e1505 link provided by notebookreview
4. Add to cart, and paste in coupon code since machine is over 1k to start.
5. Same thing... needs more information. -
try configuring this, and then add the coupon:
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=E1505S4&s=dhs -
-
Good!
Try this one:
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=E1505S3&s=dhs
that will get rid of that extra $500 -
I am running into the same problem if you attempt to configure that particular sub-model with that coupon, and I think it's a mistake on Dell's part. If you look closely at the discount details, there's a small typo.

-
i talked to them
they said they will fix it right away, and i got a $75 coupon for it... -
