    Well, look at the dimesions of the 6400 on the dell website, then check to see if it will fit in the dimensions of the bag.

    yes it does. The reason is that it fits the E1505 and will definately fit the E1405 as it is smaller. I can post pics if needed.

    My 6400 came with a Dell Deluxe Nylon Carry Case, free, so you might want to call them or wait and see what ends up in the big box you get :)
