I bought a Dell XPS 1530 from the Dell website. Yesterday i checked my order status and it says DEPARTED MANU.FACILITY.

What does this mean, will it be here soon?

Unfortunately no, since it's already been shipping process ~ there is no way to change it. :(

You can contact a Dell Rep, and try to see if they will provide you with any type of compensation for the delays you have been put through. By saying compensation, I mean something in the way of a E-Coupon (gift card) or something of that matter...or whatever else they are willing to provide for you. ;)

Try some of the links below, they may be of help. With your being in the UK, your delivery is somewhat different vs. the US.

You may want to contact a Dell Rep, to get more *definitive* information. If, they can do that for us in the US, I don't see why that can't for you! ;)

It looks like the carrier that is going to deliver your laptop, needs to arrange a scheduled time/date of delivery with you. :D

    Try this:
    http://support.euro.dell.com/support/order/emea/SearchForm.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=gen

    And, this:
    http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...ort/dsn/en/new_alt_dsn_312969?c=uk&l=en&s=gen

Here is a good page to review on Deliveries:
    http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...care/en/faq_body?c=uk&l=en&s=gen&~section=002

    Good luck!

Your get a machine on the phone to arrange delivery soon, it will be something like press 1 for AM, 2 for PM and 3 to change date .
