    Desktop background keeps resetting

    I have an XPS M1210 and for some reason everytime i open my computer all the icons on my desktop have completely rearranged. it only happens when i start my computer from stand-by or complete shutdown. Is there any way to keep the icons in the configuration that i want them in?
