Hi,
I was wondering if there is something wrong with my laptop. Basically it's Skype.
I have a desktop Vista x64 with 2gb ram and Skype works fine but for some reason when I put it on my xps m1330 with vista x64 ultimate and 4gb ram, it crashes as I open the skype program. I also uses AZSMRC and if I open the "connection setting" option it dies but on my desktop it works fine.
I don't know if it's a hardware issue or a software issue as it works fine on my desktop.
Can anyone help?
Thanks alot

I'm guessing Vista64, Skype, and your M1330 audio drivers are not playing together well.

Oh so u think it's a sound thing? Wow didn't know that because I didn't know sound drivers would crash a program. I was very worried it could be a hardware issue of some sort cos it works fine on my desktop just not my m1330. Do you think it's the same with azsmrc? like I can open program fine but once I open the "connection setting" the crash popup comes up. (java related) If i uninstall sound drivers would it work do u think?

I've installed Skype business in the past and don't recall having any problems with it. I've used the video and chat, but no actual phonecalls. I just did a reinstall so I can check again in the next few days. Send me a PM as a reminder.
