    so my xps finally got out of the dell warehouse and went to the DHL shipment center(?) in nashville as of 12 am yesterday. since then whenever i go to track my order it still has the same "Shipment Acknowledged" tag that it did when i first checked yesterday. is it seriously possible that DHL is such a horribly company that they leave a box sitting in the warehouse(?) for 2 days...

    Didin't happen with mine, DHL was excellent. Had all 4 of my shipments take no more than 2 days to be delivered.
    Printer & Portable HDD w/ Backpack were shipped into packages last monday, I got them the next day Tuesday.
    My laptop was shipped late Saturday night and I got it again the following Tuesday.
    My lojack theft protection and surge protector was shipped the same tuesday, I got it the next day Wednesday.

    DHL Rules!

    Yeah mine was shipped late on a friday and it said nashville all weekend, and monday morning at 930am it arrived. I was very satisfied with DHL to say the least.

    Mine was the same thing, shipped on Friday and said Nashville all weekend and then showed up on my doorstep about 1:30 in the afternoon on Monday. I live in Atlanta, if this helps.

    Sometimes DHL doesn't update their tracking numbers. Mine showed it was awaiting delivery to Honolulu but it came that day I checked. Go figure. UPS and FedEx does better where your package is.

    You should note that when it says "shipment acknowledged", DHL has not have the physical package in its hands. All this means is that DHL has created a tracking number and shipping label for your package. It will probably ship out over the weekend, and depending on if you chose NBD or Ground, it will get to you between 1 and 5 business days.
