I recently purchased an Alienware m11x from the Dell site, and I offered to pay through Debit Card to the representative I was talking with on the phone. A few days later I realize I have only had $24.89 pulled from my account from a "DMI* DELL CORP BUS" and a phone number with it.

I expected the payment to be one lump sum, could the representative have screwed up and made it monthly? I know we did not ever discuss anything about that.

    Any body familiar with this?

It should have been a lump sum. Do you have an invoice yet for the computer? Has it shipped? They typically do not charge for the computer until the laptop has left on a truck -- that small charge might be for a piece of software or something that was made immediately available?

I already have the laptop. I ordered it on the 6th, confirmed it and everything. This is weird, cause I could have sworn money was taken out. Any other info?
