Ok guys, so my original 1558 that I received a few days ago had viewing angle problems. It was the 720p screen. Since I was disappointed and realized the resolution wasn't to my liking, I just pulled the trigger on a 1558 from the Dell Outlet. I am going to return my original 1558.

I got this Certified Refurbished 1558 off the Dell Outlet for $670 before taxes and fees with free 3-5 day shipping. It's about $730 after taxes and recycling fee (I'm in CA). I used a 15% off coupon to get it down to the $670 price point. Here are the specs:

My original 1558 with the 720p screen was about $659 before taxes and fees, so I am only paying about $11 more. The $11 more got me an i5-430M Processor (I had an i3 in my original setup), the 1080p screen (720p before), 4GB RAM (3GB before), 320GB Hard Drive (250GB before), Intel Centrino Wireless-N Card (Dell wireless card before), Bluetooth (no bluetooth before), 9 cell battery (6 cell before) and the backlit keyboard (no backlit before).

As long as this system comes in good condition and runs good, I think I got a steal. What do you guys think?

**EDIT** I realize the hard drive in this system is 5400 RPM but I have a 320gb 7200 RPM Seagate that I just bought a couple of months ago that I am going to put into this. It's from my Vostro 1500 that recently died. That will take care of that spec.

    I got a similar 1558 like yours.
Only difference was I had i5-520 and 500GB HD instead.
Paid $100 OTD more then you with the 15% coupon etc.
I think it is a pretty good deal.
