I just orderd this past friday a XPS M1530 for 935.10.

    2.0 T7250 Intel 2 Duo
    200HD 7200 free fall
    4GB RAM
    256 Video
    Bluetooth 355
    Wsxga+
    hd audio

I just was browsing dell outlet again for the heck of it and it seems to me configs exaclty like mine are now 150 more?

I found the same config, refurb and evrything for like 1,089? Are the prices goin up or just may have overlooked sumpthn? But nothing was under 1k.

What is a new price on a similar system? I don't mean the MSRP in your sig, but a for real price after promotional discounts and such?

Last week I received the same specs are yours, but with a 2.4 (t8300) midnight blue for 900. I'm sure it was listed wrong. It's in obsolute pristine condition.

I also noticed the prices do seem higher the past few days.

I forgot to mention that mine didn't come with the sleeve. I called Dell over the weekend and a CSR got me in touch with a retention department. They ordered the sleeve at no charge (actually a nicer one that what is typically included) and gave me a 60 refund for the hassle. I never even asked for a refund. In the end, is cost 840.

Awesome config, though processor could be a bit higher. However the processor is by no means bad and still works for gaming. Benefits of getting M1530 is that you can always upgrade the processor anytime and if you are daunting enough, the display can also be upgraded should you even want to get an LED display. I'd say its a great steal~!

    Awesom.

Does anyone know if the refurbs come with that "kit" like a new M1530 would come with, the sleeve and cd holder etc? It says on the Dell Outlet website that all "Certified Refurb's" are re-boxed in brand new packaging, All Guaranteed to include all correct manuals & accessories .

So I assume it should if not Dell will be getting a call form me.

They refurbs do come with the CD holder. I have noticed that they don't come with the sleeve, however.

Upon receiving your 1530...if you do not have the sleeve, etc...give them a call and advise of what is missing. ;) :)

I'm sure they will send these to you. :D :D

It's a alright deal, considering it is refurbished, no offense but i dont like refurbished things lol..
Processor could have been better, maybe one of the Penryn's, and a LED would be better on battery life and little higher resolution.

Overall its a great deal, i mean it's under $1000! lol

I just ordered mine on 5/9/2008, and i got it shipped for $1283.47 with next day air, and check my sig for configurations. :D
