I ordered 1GB of DDR2 533MHz ram for the e1505 in 2 dimms. I ran CPU-Z today and it says that I have PC4300 266MHz ram. Something fishy here? :(

Also my backspace key squeaks.

AND I didn't get the core duo sticker......

But the lappy is WICKED fast so I'll get over it.

    Suggestions?

unlikely you got screwed, maybe that program is wrong, but Yonah (core cuo) needs at least 400
    are you plugged in?
i know the stepping only alters the multiplier and not FBS, so it shouldn't make a difference

it's ddr"2" ram so you have to double the mhz on the readout

You can also check the spec sheet for the ram. It's DDR2-533

What drumfu said. DDR stands for Dual Data Rate. So, when the module is clocked at 266MHz the actual throughput corresponds to 533Mc

PS - holding down alt while pressing PrtScn will take a screen shot of the active window only.
