For the past few months, me and many other dell computer owners have been having problems with the dell bluetooth driver and vista.
Whether it was the bluetooth icon/hardware disappearing from time to time, or the computer stalling on shutdown/hibernate/sleep....there was apparently no fix for this problem

Now that SP1 is out, I'm wondering if this problem has been fixed.

    I'll keep you guys updated

Update: So, after many successful restarts/sleeps/hibernates with SP1 and no bluetooth problems...I finally ran into the bluetooth driver issue again...

Apparently vista stopped the bluetooth driver (Dell 355 module) because an error had occured

So in the end, I don't think SP1 fixed this incompatibility....argh

I use BT on all my systems, and they all work fine.

    Did you install the setpoint?

    Archilles,
    What's setpoint?

The bluetooth works fine when the driver isn't stopped by windows....and the driver problems only occur after sleep/hibernate...
My way of preventing this bluetooth driver problem having happening is to always turn my bt adapter off before I sleep/hibernate my comp and then turning it back on when I use my comp again..

It's annoying having to do this but this is my fix for now

I am using a Logitech BT mouse and similar to Achilles never had any problem.

Free, it maybe related to M$.
