I got Dell to exchange my system recently and now on my account I see 3 new system orders with 2 being shipped already.
Could it be that Dell made a mistake and is sending me 3 new laptops? :) or are they just coming in parts

Items are shipped in separate boxes. Also, if they build one and cancel it before shipping, it will still appear in your Dell profile.

Hmm, interesting. Assuming this is your only exchange, you should have 1 order for your original, and probably a 2nd associated order for items that may have shipped seperately(i.e lojack, not a system order). Then you would have a new order processed for your exchange(3rd order no.). It is possible that they are sending you another lojack which would account for a 4th order number.

However, if you're sure that all orders are for systems then that's a whole other story. It's possible they screwed up. I would check up on it because you may likely end up getting charged for extra stuff.

Actually the way they do it is one "shipment" is your actual package, and the other "shipment" is the return label for the old laptop your to send back to them.
