    Did they nerf the Vostro's LCD?

    Now for the 15.4" the best is SXGA+, and for the 14.1" the best is XGA.

    Wasn't it WSXGA (1680x1050) and XGA+ before (or whatever 1440x900 is)?

    It still says under compare vostro notebooks:

    up to WXGA+ for 1440x900 resolution (14.1")
    up to WSXGA+ for 1680 x 900 resolution (15.4")

    But they are not options.

    Why does dell have to kill everything it does well within 2 weeks of releasing it (a la making the M1330 $400 more expensive)

    Wxga+ are nearly all defective and had grains. the return rate on Vostro 1500 with WXGA+ must be through the roof!
