My laptop was supposed to be here tomorrow, today I got a notice that it's been delayed till 30th(FFS!).
I was wondering if I call them will they compensate for the delay or 2 more weeks of waiting?

I have no idea of which system you are talking or what you paid so..is hard to answer that, but, generally yes they will trow something in if you call and address it properly.

I would recommend doing the on-line chat. You can find this at the customer support section of the website. You are connected with an agent that can look up your order. I would call the 1-800-433-9014 number first to see what stage it gives you. This way you have something to work with when talking to a CS rep. For instance, when I called, I was told I was in "Production -- Boxing" stage. When I spoke to a rep on the chat, he told me I was in the first stages of production. I told him what the 800 # said and he then corrected his information.
I did several chats...just to make sure all the information was consistent. I was given an overnight shipping upgrade and was also offered a $20 and $50 coupon good towards future dell purchases.
Good Luck! -
I got upgraded to next day shipping and then I found out that it was already too close to being shipped for the next day shipping to go through so I was credited $50, but then it ended up shipping next day anyways...

Hi, a little update,
Called today, asked for a compensation for the delay but the woman told it'd be possible to compensate after I've received the system. -
Did you get a compensation for the delay?
