The e1505 is a little lighter. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same except for components.

They should be the exact same - just offered in different sections, so that is why you get different numbering.

[edit] ignore me. I'm thinking of the E1505 vs. 6400.

The ports in the E1505 in the back are arranged slightly differently than in the 6000

the 6000 is an older model (check specs in my sig). i think the direct equivalent of the 1505 is the 6 400.

My friend has a 6000 and the screen on that is a little dimmer (he has a wxga matte screen too) and the mouse buttons make a clicking sound (the ones on e1505 make no sound)

    it's different.

my dad has the 1505 and the ports are laid out differently. as well, the 1505 has an expresscard slot, while my 6000 has a PC card slot.

as mentioned, the trackpad buttons are different. mine (6000) click and the 1505's are mushy, but don't click. i dont know which is worse.
