I have a Vostro 1500 with an 8400GS and I would like to know if
the 8600GS is really that much of an improvement?
    If so, by how much?
Is it worth the $150 upgrade?

Is it possible that Dell will make an even more powerful vid card in the future?

    thanks

The 8600M GT is a big improvement over the 8400M GS, but if you aren't gaming, it doesn't matter.
