What am I missing: both just seem to have been released as Dell's "first" Yonah/Napah/Duo core offering?

Dies anyone know the differences between them? Pros and cons of each?

Plus amazing deals are available now, and these are among the first Duo Cores on the market, but does anyone know who's ODM'ing them -- i.e., how the build quality is?

    Thanks in advance.

I believe Quanta is the ODM, though not 100%. They're the same notebook with a different badge -- the major difference being what the standard service warranty length is (longer for the business machine) and I believe that Windows Media Edition comes with the e1705 but not the 9400 (as in it is not an option). Other than that, just look for pricing and promotion differences.

Thanks! That certainly explains my confusion!

Any idea how the build quality is? How is Quanta as an OEM?
