I just ordered a XPS with the Intel T7500. My old HP had the AMD TL-50

What are the major difference between the Intel T7500 & AMD TL-50

How much better is the intel over the amd in this case? Do they have a comparison chart somewhere online?

I'm sure the T7500 is around 40%-60% faster then the TL-50...Not too sure about the differences, but I think the T7500 uses less power. If you want charts check out Tomshardware, but some people say the site isnt that good (biased? contains incorrect info?) but I still use it.

a intel has a bigger l2 cache which increse performance, also amd hypertransport is not fast as intel 800 fsb
intels enhance speed step reduces the cpu speed lower then amds. saving battery power.
intel also uses less power than amd
intel's cpu also does alot more work each thread than the amd
(not taking sides but after amd came out with hypertransport about two three years back, they have done anything esle to there cpus. and intel comes out with something every three months.)
