Just got my 1520 today :D I reinstalled the OS and MediaDirect along with all relevant drivers; after I installed the touchpad driver, I was messing around and noticed that there's a separate section for "External Mouse Settings", which seems to just open up the control panel. However, the pointer speed for both trackpad and external mouse are affected by this setting (I have tried this with the touchpad enabled and disabled when the USB wireless mouse is present). I'm going to go download the specific external mouse software (Logitech SetPoint), but I was curious if anyone has hit this issue or if there's a way around it.
