I don't know what is the difference between these two options:
+ 8X CD/DVD+RW Read and Burn CD and DVD add $0
Backup and share your data onto CDs or DVDs with a DVD+/-RW
    + 8X CD/DVD Burner w/ double-layer DVD+R write capability, w/ Roxio Creator [Included in Price]
    thanks

First option is just a regular DVD burner which can write to 4.7GB DVDs.

The second option is for a double-layer DVD burner which allows you to write to 8.5GB DVDs and includes Roxio.

I would go with the Intel N card since it seems to have a better range than the Dell N card.

I really don't know if one is better than the other. I would recommend going with a N card at this time since you can get better speed and range from it when used with a N router. And it will work with ABG routers as well.

Gives you a little future proof...
