    Hey guys...

So I just got my new Inspiron 1720 this week (sweet!)

However when I try to change the color settings on the nVidia Control Panel, a very important feature is missing - the Digital Vibrance setting is grayed out and I can't change it!

The LCD looks fine and everything looks good - however when I compare it to my old laptop, which has digital vibrance enabled and turned on a little bit, I can easily notice the lack of color! I need more saturation!

Last night before going to bed I upgraded using the drivers provided here at Dell.com to see if updated drivers would fix this issue, but it didn't work.

Is there a reason for the digital vibrance being disabled? How do I fix this?

I know Dell takes forever to update drivers, so does anyone know of a video driver on laptopvideo2go.com that will fix this problem?

    Thank you
    - Ivan

BTW it's an nVidia GeForce 8600M GT with 256 MB RAM on Windows Vista Home Premium.

Download drivers, extract them. Download custom INF and replace the INF in the drivers.

If I have a brand new laptop, what is the quickest, easiest, yet also most stable way of upgrading the video drivers?
