Should I or should I not return Dell's 8600?
I ordered a Dell 8600. The computer would not recognize the CD drive, and after 6 hours on the phone, and having Dell send me 2 replacement drives, the drive still would not work. Dell sent me another 8600 to my home address (billing address), and I am thinking problem solved.
Now, they sent another 8600 to my in-laws, the address where I had the original 8600 sent to.
With already being ticked off about the amount of time I have spent with this order, I am pondering keeping this second laptop for my time & effort. What can they do? The 2nd 8600 replacement doesn't show up on my account, unlike the 1st 8600 replacement.
Any thoughts?

my 2 cents....i am sure they will eventually discover the error.
Keeping it may expose you to liability, knowingly keeping property of another for your own use is called conversion, for which you can be sued, and it would not be a far stretch to argue constructive larceny, which is a crime, for which you can end up in jail....and yes i am a lawyer.
So my friendly advice is to do the right thing and call them up, point out the error and if you're really lucky or ask nicely maybe they will send you a gift card for doing the right thing[]
Just my 2 cents.[]

Dude, I would return it. How can you feel good about stealing. Knowing that you did not pay for it is basically stealing it. Everybody and every company makes mistakes. They were showing you good will by sending you another 8600, so show some good will back and return it.
