    Can anyone provide information on the dimensions of the Latitude D-630 and D-830 when the 9-cell battery is attached. This info is hard to find on Dell.com and google (esp since Dell decided to name their desktops "dimension"). Thanks in advance

    The 9-cell battery on the D830 does not protrude in any way and therefore the dimensions should be the same as the stock dimensions.

    1.39" x 14.20" x 10.34".

    The 9-cell battery on the D630 does protrude in the front, though I do not know by how much. I don't think it'd be more than an inch or so...

    The stock dimensions for the D630 are 1.27" x 9.37" x 13.3".
