Has anyone tried to put one of the new directx10 cards in an older laptop, like the E1705?

or can anyone look at the card and prove that its not possible?

I would just like a definite answer to weather my laptop could get a directx10 card or not (which is the E1705).

No, you can't upgrade your GPU to dx10 cards.

Assuming you have 7900GS or ATI crap, you can upgrade to 7900GTX/7950GTX at best. (both dx9 btw)
