There a way to disable the touch pad or have it turn off when I plug a mouse in. I have no software installed due to a clean OS install. Is there some sort of software I am missing that had that option?

    Thanks

Yes yo do. When properly installing the touchpad drivers, you can configure and enable exactly what you said... that the touchpad is disabled when an external mouse is connected.

I always use it on my 1420... and with a 1530 the idea should be pretty much the same ;)
