    Do you guys think Dell will offer lower prices than the current 20% off anytime soon (like christmas). Also, when do you think Dell will put Vista on their computers?

    Seems likely, but who knows except Dell of course. Vista is coming just a matter of when.

    Vista will come in Jan. As for the coupons dell has stated that they are moving away from offering coupons so I dout we will see any new ones

    I would imagine that almost as soon as Vista comes out, Dell will start preloading their computers with it. But, that is just a guess. Who knows what they'll do with the integrated graphics..

    What about free upgrades to Vista as an Incentive?

    ie, buy now, get Windows XP, get free upgrade to Vista when it comes out?

    It's a common type of promotion, but I could also see it going either way with Vista?

    i chatted with one of those dell.com chat people (man, they're stupid!). I finally managed to get one of them to tell me when vista coupons will be on inspirons- "within next month".
