    Display problem

    Got a new Dell 8600 with 15,4" screen. Runs it in maximum resolution 1680x1050. Mostly really sharp but often pictures, logos and pictures with texts (like buttons) are blurry. For example black text on white background looks "smeared". Why is that?

    control panel > system > advanced > performance options > visual effects

    and play around with settings there to see if it helps, you can select whether you do or don't want drop shadows on text and buttons...this might be causing the blurring.
