    Hey guys,
Does anyone has a setup to confirm that audio works in a displayport-displayport connection. I've tried the E6500 to U2410. I am especially curious about the new Studio 17's with the ATI GX card.

    Thanks !!

I have a Dell MX11 notebook and have connected it to my U2410 via the display-port.

I can say for a fact that audio via the monitor works.

I don't have the sound bar, but did have speakers plugged into the audio-out on the monitor.

My notebook uses Realtek HD Audio on a Windows 7 64bit OS.

I can select audio output devices from the control panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound

The U2410 is identified as Dell U2410.
