    Do all Studio 15s come with the media remote?

    I remember reading that not all studios come with the remote or a backlight keyboard. Don't quote me on this but someone had said the backlight is an extra option you pay for in australia. and someone else had mentioned it not being a standard option in the uk.
    Also staples laptops have been confirmed (i believe) to not come with a remote

    My UK Studio did not come with a remote control. Just a plastic filler. I could not order it even via phone. Another reason I had the Studio Range!

    I ordered a Studio 17. I thought the remote was standard until someone on this board pointed out that it wasn't. I am pretty sure it was a $15 option in the travel section of customizing your laptop

    I ordered my remote with my Studio 17, it was an option for me..I hope it comes now lol

    Maybe it depends which model you get (ie good, better, best). Maybe it is standard on the best and with the other two you have to select it?

    I can confirm the Staples models do not come with a remote. It doesn't matter, though, since I'd rather watch DVDs on my real TV.
