    Or is it a special option you have to choose?

    I'm still waiting to hear from the Dell representative. If I don't hear by Wed night I am ordering it anyway (that gave him a week to respond to my email)

    I don't think so you have to check it under the accessories are for the Dell Travel Remote.

    They come standard with a Bluetooth remote, the Travel Remote is IR if I am not mistaken.
