    no they dont, they are slightly different, i tryed it on a friends, the e1705 has a tiny lip that the e1505s dont, it just barley doesnt fit

    thats odd, I was planning on buying one from an e1705 from a freind of mine that is all battery paranoid, she'll only use it plugged in now, I have an e1505, they look the same on the outside

    Thanks...it sounds like my e1505 extra battery won't be useful on the e1705 that I'm thinking of getting....

    Hmm...it's still possible that it could work the other way around, with my extra e1505 battery being able to work in an e1705....
