    Do refurbished Dell's come with batteries?

    I've decided to go refurbished. When I'm adding to cart however, it gives me the chance to buy a battery. In the description, however, it mentions a 9 cell battery. Do I have to buy one?

    do refurbished dells come with refurbished batteries? thats the real question :)

    a 9 cell is an option when buying all laptops, it allows for greater time, 85whr compared to a 6 cell

    if it mentions a 9-cell in the description then it comes with the 9 cell

    Yes, they come with the battery listed with the rest of the laptop specs, some are listed with 9 cell batteries. I don't know if the batteries are new or not, i wouldn't think so.

    the battery is as old as the laptop that the person who returned it had the laptop for.
