I'm just wondering if putting a sticker on the back side of my screen on my E1705 would void my full 4 year warranty which I purchased. I know there are a couple things whichh may void warrantys, but I'm not quite sure what actions would void them.

    So any help please, thanks.

Umm, if the sticker doesn't have the kind of glue that would eventually fuse with the plastic from the heat then you can always rip it back off if you have to send the notebook in for repairs, right?

I highly doubt that...of course you don't want to block a vent or something, but I don't think it will be an issue.

Yea so long as you don't put the sticker over the hot air vent then you are okay.

Is the Vista stickers the system comes with aren't considered a reason to void a warranty, I don't think any others should be a problem.

    'cept maybe Dell stickers.

    :p

Anyways, to be serious, as long as you don't block a vent, you should be fine.

Ok, thanks. The sticker is about the size of a regular mouse pad, and it's just an Nvidia Sticker. I placed it directly over the back dell logo of the Laptop Lid. So since that doesn't cover any vents, I'd assume that's fine. Unless Dell gets mad because I covered their logo.
