Does anyone know if SATURDAY is considered a business day for Dell. Do the people at Dell work on Saturday? The reason I'm asking is because I want to know if they will do the "Boxing" part of my order today. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Heh, you seem quite eager to get your laptop :). As for your question, I don't know for sure, but for my first order, I did have an estimated delivery date set for a Saturday. But my guess would be, No.

Maybe someone knows a for sure answer.

Boxing, isn't actually Boxing. That's the time period when the notebook is being shipped over to the US from Malaysia.

They probably are working on Saturday.
When I placed my order it was Saturday morning and when I checked the next day around noon it was in the testing process.

I doubt they could afford not to work on Saturday...Imagine how backed up they would be once Monday Morning rolls around

I think they work weekends. Also I dont think the computers are assembled in the US. Would make sense for them to be working 24/7.

Anyway Dell usually take their time unless they feel it is really urgent. Iv bought a number of Dells and it usually take a week to ship and a couple days to build/box. The shortest time Iv seen so far is a couple days ago when I called Dell about a problem with my Dell X1. They somehow put it as a safety hazard and since Im going on a 2 month trip they are having it built/boxed/shipped in like 4 days lol.

Those underpaid underage workers in Malaysia work 12 hours shifts 24/7/365....
