Do uk inspiron 1520's come with express card media remotes?

i have asked dell live chat about this 4 times, 2 times they say yes, an two times they say you have to pay extra for it when you order the laptop (only there is no option to do so).

so i just want to know from people who have recieved this laptop, if the media remote is included?

In New Zealand it is a NZ$16 option, found in the section with the misc accessories like TV-out adapters, though I am aware that the configure system is different here to in the UK.

Maybe giving Dell a call is the best way, if it isn't included they can probably ship one out separately (at a cost no doubt).

 

I am going to get the $11 refurbished one as there is free shipping in US going on.

 

you cant buy them online i dont think from the dell uk store
if i feel i need one ill get one, or a 3ed party make

 

grrr... dell india dont know anything... keep telling me different things... the tally is 8 people say you get a media remote with this notebook and 4 say you dont as standard in the uk...

 

I hope I get one with mine, I'll ask them on livechat aswell, See what they say

and when did you order your system... you have the same est date as mine

 

they told me to phone up customer sevices because my model number was an old one, It's a simple enough question and its the same laptop so it should be the same

 

they change the offers every thursday, that might be why its an "old" model

 

If you don't get one you should have little to no trouble asking for one later. Lots of people have done this (in US and CA) and have had no problems.
