    Does 1520 have Infrared?
    because i notice below the play and pause key
    there is something there...

    if yes, how to activate it?

    Yes, it does of infrared.

    I believe it is on all the time like a television.

    I use is for the IR remote to control power point presentation while talking to clients, and for changing the volume while watching a movie.

    It got an IR sensor for the remote, but it is not an IR port for data communication (e.g. sync with PDA).
