Hello, I was wondering if the 9-cell battery sticks out on an Inspiron e1505? Does it really make it too heavy?

I want to get a 9-cell because I am getting the upgraded graphics card. Plus, I would love to have a laptop that lasts five hours. But my mom has a 6-cell and it lasts about 3 hours.

Thanks for your help. This forum answered every other question I had. THANKS!
    Marko

Nope, the 9-cell battery does not stick out of the notebook. The battery compartment is actually surrounded by the laptop, the it is just a compartment in the bottom like the memory, nowhere to stick out.

Yep, doesnt stick out... it adds a little cost, and a little weight for a 5-6hr battery life.
