    Does DHL Ship on Saturdays?

    I just got an update from DHL saying it was in transit from the distribution center near my home, do you think it's possible it will be delivered today?

    DHL does offer Saturday Delivery. It will most likely be shipped to you today :D.

    From DHL's website:
    "Does DHL offer Saturday delivery and pickup?
    Yes. DHL offers Saturday delivery and pickup in most major U.S. cities. Please Contact Us for details and special arrangements."

    DHL does indeed offer Saturday, but it will only deliver on this day if you originally specified Saturday delivery. And once the package has been shipped, DHL will not change the delivery method. If you didn't pay extra for Saturday delivery, your package will arrive on Monday. Plus, unless the order status says "On vehicle for delivery" this morning, it will not come today.

    Dang, well thanks for clearing that up. It just says in transit. At least now I can leave for the rest of the day and not have to worry about it!

    It seems that DHL is indeed the standard 3-5 day shipping partner now (they musta switched over).

    They do move stuff on saturday though. Mine was in transit last night, and it departed TN this morning at 8am. So they probably don't ship to your house on saturday, but they still move product.
